...Within this piece are the elements of time and timelessness, of certainty and uncertainly, of determinacy and indeterminacy, fragmented as sound collaboration. We are a part of the eternal organic continuity of life -transmigration – in where the luna system influences all entities to the highest degree. 赤間涼子
Ryoko Akama

英国在住。エレクトロニクス／エレクトロアコースティックの構成要素を主に作曲家、奏者、音の芸術家として活動。多くの作品を発表、出版。2005年より長唄杵家弥登孝師に師事し長唄を中心に日本邦楽世界の音を実験に題材にして芸術性を見いだす。GEN演奏団創立。伝統と実験性を主題に作品を発展させる。現在ハダスフィールド大学院音楽学科CeReNem研究室で博士課程に在籍。...

Ryoko akama is a UK-based composer, a performer and a sound artist whose works have primarily components of acoustic and electroacoustic music. Her works have been performed, commissioned worldwide and published. Apprenticeship to Mrs. Yatotaka Kineie on Nagauta since 2005 has taken her artistic insight to deeper experimentation with sound of Japanese traditional music. She develops the concept of `Tradition and Experimentation in Sound` with own ensemble, GEN. She is currently a PhD researcher at CeReNem(Centre for Research in New Music) at the University of Huddersfield with the guidance of Liza Lim and Monty Adkins. ...

Madonna della Neve
雪の聖母

1997年に大地震で倒壊したアッシジ郊外の森の中の教会跡から名を取った。風化した石壁の隙間から落ちる砂を連想させるグラニュラーシンセシス風の、しかし電子音に頼らずバイブレーターで演奏されるピアノの内部弦のかすれた音を基調に、廃墟の中に残るフレスコ画の断片のようにフルートとヴァイオリンがわずかに冷たい色彩を加える。

This piece is named after the church in Assisi destroyed by an earthquake in 1997. The vibrators inside the piano make sounds like granular synthesis, reminding one of sand from decayed rock walls. Above that, the flute and violin add a slightly cool timbre, like some fresco paintings in the ruins.

今堀拓也
Takuya Imahori

2001年ガウデアムス賞(オランダ)受賞。ドナウエッシンゲン音楽祭(ドイツ)、ラジオフランス・プレザンス音楽祭、ファロス現代音楽祭(キプロス)をはじめ、イタリア、ベルギー、フィンランドなどヨーロッパの多くの国々で作品が演奏されている。玉川大学卒業、パリ・エコールノルマル音楽院修了、フランス国立音響音楽研究所IRCAM作曲研究課程修了、現在ジュネーヴ高等音楽院在籍。

Having received the Gaudeamus Prize in 2001, Takuya Imahori's works have been performed in many cities in Europe such as Donaueschinger Musiktage (Germany), Festival Présence in Radio France, Pharos International Contemporary Music Festival (Cyprus), as well as in Italy, Belgium, Finland, among other countries. He studied at Tamagawa University, École Normale de Musique in Paris and Cursus of Composers at IRCAM. He is currently studying at Haute École de Musique in Geneva.
