PROGRAM NOTE

Archipel du sommeil dans le jour VII
昼の中の眠りの群島 VII

タイトルはエドモン・ジャベスの詩句から取りました。ある空間を規定し、そこに佇むべき最小の音たちを取り敢えず記譜します。しかしその音たちは、既に何らかの音の影、残響、気配でもあります。それらが幾重にも折り重なる中に、ひっそりとした、しかし確固とした音楽の持続が息づくことを意図しました。

The title is a quotation from Edmond Jabès' poem. Deciding some spaces first, I then notated the minimum amount of the notes that should be there. However the notes are already some kind of thing, such as a sound's shadow, resonance, atmosphere. Among their layers, I intend the music to exist quietly but steadily, breathing continuously.

木下正道
Masamichi Kinoshita

1969年福井県大野市生まれ。東京学芸大学で音楽を学ぶ。武満徹作曲賞、現音新人賞などに入選。生楽器/演奏者のための作曲、電気機器による即興演奏、様々な演奏会の企画、を三本柱にして活動を展開中。

Born in 1969 in Ono, Fukui, Masamichi Kinoshita studied music at Tokyo Gakugei University. He was a finalist at the Toru Takemitsu Composition Award and the JSCM Award for Composers. Kinoshita is active as a composer for acoustic instruments/performers, an improvisor on electronics and an organizer for several kinds of concerts.

Crescent Moon in the Azure Twilight

「三日月」と書いて「クレッセントムーン」と読む。月のある心象風景。月は幻想的な雰囲気を持つ一方である種の病的な要素も含み、これまでに多くの作家が月に魅せられ、あるいは取り憑かれ、月を題材にした作品を残してきた。
あなたは最近、いつ月を注意深く見ましたか?

Since ancient times many writers and composers have been attracted to the moon and have written works based on the moon. While the moon has a fantastical nature, it has also a depressing ambiance. When did you last take time to look at the moon?

山本 哲也 (Tetsuya YAMAMOTO)

1989 年長野県生まれ。2012年に国立音楽大学を卒業、現在同大学院修士課程に在学中。作曲を川島素晴、北爪道夫の各氏に師事。第27回現音作曲新人賞(2010)など受賞。mmm...のコンサートには第 1 回よりステージスタッフとして参加している。作曲の会「Shining」メンバー。 http://www.tetsuyayamamoto.net

Born in 1989 in Nagano, Testuya Yamamoto graduated from Kunitachi College of Music in 2012 and is currently working on his master degree at the same school. He has studied composition with Motoharu Kawashima and Michio Kitazume. In 2010 Yamamoto was awarded the 27th JSCM Award for Composers.
