私が曲中で表現している"響きの生命体"のイメージは、運動と静止（生と死）、上昇と下降（天と地）、緊張と弛緩（闘争と平和）などといった、私たちの日常で覚えることができるようなものなのかもしれません。

The images of "the creature of the sound" that I create in this piece might be some things such as moving and sleeping (life and death), ascending and descending (sky and ground), intensity and relaxation (battle and peace), which we see and remember in our daily life.

Yumi Saiki

愛知県立芸術大学、パリ・エコールノルマル音楽院、パリ国立高等音楽院、イルカムで学ぶ。日本音楽コンクール、芥川作曲賞など受賞。作品は、NHK交響楽団をはじめ、様々なオーケストラや演奏団体などによって世界各地で演奏されている。独自な音響や音楽的時間構成を、虫の音などを題材にした作曲作品を通して探求している。

Yumi Saiki has studied at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, l'Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, and IRCAM. She has been awarded several prizes, such as the second prize at the Music Competition of Japan and the Akutagawa Composition Award. Her works have been performed by various orchestras and groups including the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Using insects' noise as compositional material, Saiki creates her own music world through her unique sound effects and musical time structure.

Čmrlj
マルハナバチ

Čmrlj (マルハナバチ)はスロベニア語で最も発音しにくい言葉の一つである。ミラノでベートーヴェンの「バカテル」の間に、様々な作曲家の作品が演奏されたサン・フェデーレ財団主催のコンサートで演奏された。

Čmrlj is one of the hard-to-pronounce words in Slovenian language. It means bumble bee. The piece was initially composed as a part of series of works by various composers to be played in combination with the bagatelles by Beethoven in a concert at San Fedele Foundation in Milano.

ヴィト ジュラージ

1979年生まれのスロベニアの作曲家。リュブリャナにてマルコ・ミヘヴク、ドレスデン音楽大学にてローター・フォクトレンダー、カールスルーエ音楽大学にてヴォルフガング・リームに師事し、音楽テクノロジーの修士号を取得。2009年から2010年にかけ、アンサンブルモデルンアカデミーに参加。ドイツ銀行が出資するアカデミー・オペラ・トゥデイより2010年から2年間助成を受けた。...www.vitozuraj.com

The Slovenian composer Vito Žuraj, born 1979 in Maribor, and having studied composition with Marko Mihevc in Ljubljana, with Lothar Voigtländer at the Hochschule für Musik Dresden as well as with Wolfgang Rihm at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. Following his studies in composition there, he completed the Master of Arts in music technology under Dr. Thomas A. Troge. 2009-2010 he was composition student International Ensemble Modern Academy Frankfurt and 2010 participated at their composition seminar. 2010-2012 he is a scholarship holder at the Academy Opera Today, sponsored by Deutsche Bank Foundation. ... www.vitozuraj.com
