This small piece is a musical translation of my own vision of Japan through great Japanese painters as Hokusaii or Hiroshige.

PROGRAM NOTE
A TWILIGHT EPISODE
This piece is in what I call the genre of "katarimono music", that is, music which involves the difficult technique of speaking while playing. I always have thought Taruho Inagaki was a marvellous writer, but after March 11, 2011, his books have fascinated me in a different way, especially his symbolic writing on the beauty of electrical gadgets. I hope the flame of peace can be lit soon.
Kaori Ohsuga (piano+story telling)
