Treasure Mountain
宝の山

A well-known song of Fukushima area, Aizu Bandaisan, is the starting point of my work; it remains almost hidden at the beginning, transformed and elaborated in many way; only in the final episode the distant lines of the piccolo could let it be seen. Seeds of hope.

福島でよく知られる歌「会津磐梯山」が作曲の原点であり、冒頭で隠れるかたちで聞こえるものの、姿を変え、複雑に練り上げられ、様々な形で現れる。曲の終盤でピッコロが奏でるメロディが唯一認識できるところである。希望の種を。

ジョルジォ コロンボ タッカーニ

1961年生まれ。様々なコンールで入賞し、作品をイタリア国営放送で放送、ツェルボーニ社から出版。アゴン・アクスティカ・インフォマルティカ・ムジカにて電子音楽に携わる。ルガーノのスヴィッツェラ・イタリアーナ音楽院にて現代音楽に焦点をあてたコースを担当。トリノ・ヴェルディ音楽院にて作曲を教えている。www.colombotaccani.it

Colombo Taccani(1961-)'s music has won awards and honorable mentions in several competitions, has been broadcast by National Radios, and is published by Edizioni Suvini Zerboni, Milan.Since 1991 he has been working with electronic music in Milan at AGON acustica informatica musica - Centro Studi Armando Gentilucci. Since 2005 he collaborates with the Conducting course focusing primarily on contemporary repertoire) taught by Giorgio Bernasconi and Arturo Tamayo at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, Lugano. This energy that created the material for Drifting exists somewhere else, possibly the past. There is a non-negotiable level of trust between the material in the piece and this generational event. This gives the musical material a strong sense of purpose and the material can focus on maintaining its predetermined path rather than wandering around. ...

デヴィン マックスウェル

打楽器奏者、作曲家、プロデューサー、指揮者と、多彩な顔をもつ音楽家。実験音楽の解釈、作曲、コンサート企画、演奏を主な活動としている。音楽界の起業家として、また商業的な演奏家として成功を収めたのち、現在ユタ大学にて博士課程に在籍。ニューヨーク・ブルックリンのリッスン／スペースの演奏会を組織している。

Devin Maxwell is a multi-faceted musician, percussionist, composer, record producer, and conductor whose keen interest in experimental music and music technology has put him at the forefront of experimental music interpretation, composition, concert curation, and performance. After a successful career as a musical entrepreneur and commercial musician, he is now focusing on original work, pursuing his Ph. D in Music Composition at the University of Utah. He has performed and recorded extensively with performing artists and chamber groups including Dither, So Percussion, Anni Rossi, and Bat for Lashes. He also curates performances at Listen/Space in Brooklyn, NY.
