PRANA
プラーナ

ＰＲＡＮＡ（プラーナ）とは、サンスクリットで呼吸、息吹、風を指す言葉だ。アルト・フルートを中心にした「息物」（＝生きもの) の生命力あふれる音群が、あす、美しい花を咲かせることを願う。

PRANA is a Sanskrit word related to respiration, breathing, and wind. I hope this group of notes of breathing creatures, in which the alto flute takes the lead, will cause beautiful flowers to bloom tomorrow.

BIOGRAPHY

森田泰之進
Yasunoshin Morita

作曲を松平頼暁、Frederic Durieuxの各氏に師事。これまでに日本交響楽振興財団作曲賞最高位入賞、ヴァレンティノ・ブッキ賞、日本現代音楽協会新人賞など受賞。日本現代音楽協会会員。

Yasunoshin Morita has studied composition with Yoriaki Matsudaira and Frederic Durieux. He has received numerous awards such as the first prize at the Japan Symphony Foundation Composition Competition, Premio Valentino Bucchi International Music Composition Competition and JSCM Composers Award. He is currently a member of JSCM (Japan Society for Contemporary Music).

PROGRAM NOTE

No-Go
ノー・ゴー

タイトルは"立ち入り禁止区域"からとられた。広大な立ち入り禁止区域が福島第一原子力発電所の周りに敷かれた。このような立ち入り区域に思いを巡らせると、恐ろしくも興味をそそられる。その思いを音楽として形にした。

The title No-Go comes from the term 'no-go zone'. After the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear catastrophe, large no-go zone was declared around the nuclear plant. ...An idea of this kind of a human free area is both frightening and fascinating. I wanted to describe this atmosphere in this duo for alto flute and violin.

BIOGRAPHY

Tomi Räisänen
トミ　ライサネン

ヘルシンキ大学にて音楽学とH.ヴォリのもと作曲を学び、シベリウス・アカデミーで作曲をE.ヨネキンに師事。ヨーロッパ、北南米、アジア、オーストラリアなど30カ国以上で作品が演奏されている。2007年入野賞受賞。2002年、国際作曲コンクール2AGosto(イタリア)で２位入賞。作品はEdition TROYから出版されている。

The FInnish composer Tomi Räisänen (b.1976) studied composition at the Sibelius Academy in Finland. Before entering the Sibelius Academy he was at the University of Helsinki studying musicology and composition.Räisänen's music has been widely performed and broadcasted in around 40 countries across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia. In 2007 Räisänen won the international Irino Prize in Japan. In 2002 he was awarded with the 2nd prize in the international composition competition, "2 Agosto" in Italy. All Räisänen works are being published by Edition TROY.
