レイク(湖)の周りで、Vの形が水面に描かれるを目にした。ビーバーが月下で泳いでいた。そして静かな水面に刻むような音楽を書きたいと思った。

Lei Liang
レイ リャン

中国生まれ、アメリカ在住。2011年ローマ賞受賞。グッゲンハイム奨学金授与、アーロン・コープランド賞受賞。ニューヨーク・フィルハーモニックとアラン・ギルバートのための委嘱作品がある。ニューイングランド音楽院大学・大学院修士課程修了、ハーヴァード大学にて博士号を取得。現在カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校准教授。楽譜をショット・ミュージック社から出版。

A Chinese-born American composer Lei Liang is the winner of the 2011 Rome Prize, the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and an Aaron Copland Award. He was commissioned by the New York Philharmonic and Alan Gilbert for the inaugural concert of the CONTACT! new music series. Lei Liang received degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music (BM and MM) and Harvard University (Ph.D). Lei Liang currently serves as Associate Professor of Music at the University of California, San Diego. Lei Liang's music is published exclusively by Schott Music Corporation (New York).

吾子(あこ)
Aco (inner child)

吾子(あこ)とは、自身の内面にある子供の頃から変わらない性質のことです。人間が時間を経て成長していくにつれて変化するもの／変化しないものを、この曲で表現しました。...通常はピアノ弾き語りですが、今回はトリオ編成で演奏していただきました。

Aco is the inherent character that people have since their childhood. In this work I expressed those features of us which, as we grow, are both mutable and unchangeable. Aco is usually performed by a singer who also plays the piano. This time it is performed as a trio.

Yuko Tomiyama

東京藝術大学音楽学部作曲科在学中から、ライブハウスでの演奏を始める。同大学大学院作曲専攻卒業。映画美学校音楽美学高等科卒業。ライブは、作曲・編曲・ピアノ弾き語りが主流。2011年アルバム「僕らの時代」をリリース。他にはNHK教育テレビ「時々迷々(ときどきまよまよ)」音楽担当などがある。富山優子公式ウェブサイト http://www.tomiyama-yuko.com

Yuko Tomiyama graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with bachelor and master degrees and then completed the recording course in the music division of the Film School of Tokyo. During her undergraduate degree, she began to perform live music in clubs. Her club performances are mostly original compositions, arrangements and singing at the piano. In April 2011 her first full album Bokura no jidai (our generation) was released.She has worked on music for the NHK Educational Television's TV program,Tokidoki Mayomayo. http://www.tomiyama-yuko.com
