Invenzione n. 2

1995年に作曲したフルートと鍵盤楽器のための曲。作曲技法や当時の大きなプロジェクトを考えるのを一時放棄して、心の内にある音楽を表現する必要性に駆られ作曲した。日本の伝統音楽に影響を受けている曲と強く思える。

Invenzione n. 2 is a short work for flute and keyboard that I wrote in 1995, originally for a flute-harpsichord duo. For once I decided to put aside technical thinking and larger project framing and to turn just to the spontaneous urgency to express an interior sound. A sound that, in my vision, was definitely indebted to traditional japanese music.

マッシミリアーノ ヴィール
Massimiliano Viel

ミラノ在住。ファニホウ、ドナトーニ、ミュライに師事。作曲家、鍵盤奏者、サウンドデザイナーとして、ベリオ、ロミテッリ、シュトックハウゼン等世界各地でコラボレーションをする。2001年よりOtolabに参加、オーディオ＆ビジュアル企画を手がける。ボルツァーノ音楽院"クラウディオ・モンテヴェルディ"教授。プラネタリー・コレギウム M-Node博士号候補生。www.massimilianoviel.net

Massimiliano Viel was born in Milano, Italy where he lives. He studied with composers such as B.Ferneyhough, F.Donatoni and T.Murail. His manifold activities as composer, keyboard player and sound designer brought him to collaborate with ensembles, orchestras and theatres all over the world and with composers such as L.Berio, F.Romitelli and K.Stockhausen. In 2001 he joined Otolab with whom he realized audio-visual projects in the most important international festivals. He is chair professor at the "C.Monteverdi" Conservatory in Bolzano and PhD candidate at the Planetary Collegium M-Node of the University of Plymouth, UK.
