アラン ゴーサン
Allain Gaussin

演奏会、レクチャーそして作曲セミナー等を通し、世界的に活躍する作曲家。現在フォンテーヌブロー・アメリカアカデミー、京都フランス音楽アカデミー、大阪音楽大学大学院講師。1995年シャルル・クロ・アカデミー・ディスク大賞受賞。1998年ICONS国際作曲賞を受賞。ウェブサイト→www.allaingaussin.com

Allain Gaussin followed an international career as composer, with concerts, lectures and composition seminars: Darmstadt, Seoul, Moscow, New York , Tokyo, Montreal and all Europe... Currently, he teaches composition at the American Academy in Fontainebleau and at the Academy of French Music in Kyoto, he also teaches Orchestration at the Osaka College of Music (Japan). In 1995 the Charles Cros Academy awarded a "Grand Prix du disque" to the CD of his works. 「ロンタニッシモ」より、第二曲 "アリア"
<<Lontanissimo>> 2 .Aria

この曲は、Lontanissimoという４曲の小品から成っている、２曲目にあたる曲です。BとDの長３度の音程を核にして、ハーモニクスなど様々な奏法を駆使しながら、多様な表情と色彩を得ることを意図しています。また、冒頭にAriaと題したのは、私自身が、素朴な歌のように思えたからです。

This is the second movement from a four movement piece, Lontanissimo. In the piece, Bb and D have important roles showing different expressions and timbres through extended techniques like harmonics. The reason why I titled this piece Aria is because it sounded like a plain song.

渡辺俊哉
Toshiya Watanabe

1974年生まれ。東京藝術大学音楽学部作曲科卒業。同大学大学院修士課程作曲専攻修了。1999年度武満徹作曲賞第3位入賞。クロノイ・プロトイ第5回作品展が、第9回佐治敬三賞受賞。この公演は後日レコーディングされ、1月にリリース予定。2012年、ミュージック・フロム・ジャパン委嘱新作がニューヨーク初演予定。現在、国立音楽大学専任講師。

Born in 1974, Toshiya Watanabe graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with bachelor and masters degrees. He received numerous awards including the 3rd pize at 1999 Toru Takemitsu Composition Award Composition Competition (the judge was Luciano Berio) and the 9th Saji-Keizo Prize (Suntory Foundation for Arts) as a member of the composer collective, Chronoi Protoi. In January 2012 Chronoi Protoi is releasing a CD on the Sound Aria label. "Music from Japan" commissioned a new work from Watanabe that will be premiered in New York in 2012. He is currently a professor at Kunitachi College of Music.
