Berceuse

眠れない夜の、心の底の感情の揺れ動きを表現したいと思った。自分が何を感じているのか冷静に見つめ、そして、その感情を押し静め、再び心地よい夢へ戻れるように・・・。...それはほとんど祈りに近いものかもしれません。...

I tried to capture the feeling of a night spent struggling into sleep; to understand my true emotions, to calm my uneasiness, and to fall into a deep sleep…Even though it is only a little, I can explain my feelings,... I hope we will gain energy to proceed into a bright future from this.

BIOGRAPHY

Michiko Fukazawa

兵庫県生まれ。大阪音楽大学作曲学科、同大学専攻科修了。2003年パリエコールノルマル音楽院作曲クラスディプロム課程修了。2007年にMouvement Perpétuel 2 pour violon seulがマザーアース社より楽譜出版される。作品に”prisme(2006)””deux papillons(2003)””le bois perdant la mémoire”などがある。日本現代音楽協会（JSCM）会員。

Michiko Fukazawa was born in Hyogo and graduated from the Osaka College of Music with a Bachelor's degree and a special course diploma. In 2003, she received a class diploma from l'École Normal de Musique de Paris. Her work Mouvement Perpétuel 2 pour violon seul was published in 2007 by MotherEarth. Other notable pieces she has composed include prism (2006), deux papillons (2003), and le bois perdant la mémoire. Michiko is a member of the Japan Society for Contemporary Music.

Ripples
リップルズ

...東日本を襲ったリップルズ（津波）から注意をそらし、心のリップルズ（波紋）を整えることに集中した。...想いを込め、作曲をした。自分なりの小さな形での祈りをこのプロジェクトを通して表現できたことに喜びを感じている。

...I hoped to shift attention away from the ripples that became waves of deadly energy off the coast of Northeastern Japan, instead concentrating on the ripples of compassion and concern that continue to be directed towards the victims of those tragic events. I am grateful and honored to have had the opportunity to contribute this small gesture of hope.

Adam Greene

カリフォルニア州在住。作品はカリフォルニアのみならず、アンサンブルレゾナンツ、スペキュラム・ムジカエ等に演奏されている。フロム音楽財団からの委嘱を始め、米国作曲家作詞家出版社協会、アメリカ音楽協会、文化イノヴェーションセンター、アメリカ現代音楽協会から作曲賞や助成を受けた。AucourantレコードよりCDをリリース。

Adam Greene is an American composer living in California. He thrives upon collaboration with experienced and adventurous performers who seek to find new perspectives toward musical expression. Greene’s interests include language and metaphor, theories of memory, and the physicality of instrumental practice. His music has been performed by SONOR, Ensemble Resonanz, the Formalist Quartet, and Speculum Musicae. His awards include a commission grant from the Fromm Music Foundation at Harvard, as well as prizes from ASCAP, The American Music Center, the Center for Cultural Innovation, and NACUSA. Recordings of his music can be found on Aucourant Records.
